Unpacking the Genre Resources
Unpacking the Genre helps students build an understanding of each genre by analyzing and learning from real-world Mentor Texts, teacher models and student samples. Students learn from these texts by reading them closely, evaluating and analyzing with especial attention to technique, such as structure, language, phrasing, etc. Additionally, Students learn by emulating the techniques of good writers. |
